Shahin Sakhi M.D., Ph.D. is a psychiatrist and faculty member at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute, where he teaches psychiatry residents group dynamics, loss and transformation, and history of psychoanalysis.
He is the former Editor in Chief of the USC Journal of Medicine. He received his Ph.D. in Molecular Neurobiology from USC in 1996 and his M.D. from USC in 1997.
His writing has been published in the field's most prestigious publications, including Physiology & Behavior, Circulation Research, The National Academy of Science and Neurobiological Disease.
He has presented his work in Science News Magazine, and Neuroscience Abstract. |
