To become a member of the SmartAlec community, please fill out the following form, and you will be sent your SmartAlec password via the e-mail address that you provided.

Important Information:

• Your password is sent to you via e-mail for two reasons. We need to verify your e-mail address so that we can send you important information about SmartAlec, and your password needs to be generated automatically by our servers to ensure maximum security. You can always change your password to another 8+ character string, but we recommend you keep the generated password since it's nearly impossible to guess.

• If you select 'Save Login Information,' your username and password will be saved in a cookie on your hard drive. This means that whenever you visit SmartAlec, your information will be filled in automatically so all you need to do is click Login. This is bad if you are not the only person that uses this computer. You should know that it is possible to obtain your password from your computer if this option is checked.
  


• If you select 'Send E-mail Newsletter,' you will be sent periodic news items via e-mail. The news will included SmartAlec updates, and general Milestone Inc. news. You can always unsubscribe on your preferences page if you don't wish to receive the newsletter anymore.

• We would like your mailing address simply to allow us to send you promotional items to do with SmartAlec. We will not give out your information to anybody. It's for our eyes only.
